Let's go into the Centre of Thailand's green heart - discover an unknown part of it!
1st day

8:00 pick up time at the hotel in Khao Lak and travel to Krabi, passing the beautiful scenery of the Phang Nga Province. We take a Coffee break at Thaput. Then it goes on to the tiger cave temple in Krabi. Here you will discover not only culture, but also a unique jungle valley with old mammoth trees more than 1000 years old. We walk through the valley, in order to admire this didactic area of a rain forest. In the rock niches and cavesม monks live in small huts for meditation. Lunch in Krabi city and then we drive on to the special natural park "Emerald Pond".
There we walk around this humid area with a lot of small brooks and to discover its singular plant world. Finally we reach a small lake, which invite you for swimming and whose emerald-green colour stand as godfather for it’s the naming. After the refreshment we bring you directly to Nakhorn Sri Thammarat and check-in will be in the Twin Lotus Hotel. Time to relax. At 19:30 we will fetch you for dinner in a well known Seafood restaurant, in order to discuss the further program of the trip.
2nd day
After breakfast at about 8:00 we drive to the northern part of the Khao Luang national park (approx. 70 km). This park is mostly unknown and offers an almost paradisiacal landscape, with mountains, waterfalls, rivers and brooks. From the flat country up to the high land jungle we will find here all kind of rain forest types and many unbelievably plant types. In the morning we walk through the Krung Ching nature didactic trail, which leads to the Waterfall. We will enjoy the diversity of species of this native rain forest. The excursion takes approx. 4 hours. Lunch will be in the national park restaurant. After only 20 min. of drive, we will achieve a Rafting station, where we will take in hand our life jackets and helmets. With a PICK UP car and the life boat as "luggage" we drive to the river, where we start the ride with the Dinghy. Now a river rafting expects us within a wild-romantic valley, with many rocks in the river and on the bank, where behind the jungle starts directly. The ride is harmless, because only small current fast have to be bypass. Enjoy the panorama view you can see down from the river. After this impressive experience we go back to the hotel and will visit the Ai Khieo Waterfall, which belongs still to the national park. We drive with the car up to the Waterfall, which pours in several cascades from the mountain into the valley, surrounded of a fantastic and beautiful environment fulfilled with rocks and jungle. Before we drive back to the hotel, some small basins invite you for swimming and relaxing. In the evening we will enjoy the dinner and close together the lovely day.
3rd day
Today we start a little bit earlier (7: 30), because we drive in the direction of Pattalung (approx. 90 km) to Talee Noi (small lake). This lake offers a real speciality: He is full of Lotus flowers and to see them in full bloom splendour, we must be there early, because about noon the blooms close again. We drive with a long tail boat on the lake, always within this "carpet" of Lotus flowers. The flowers colours and type of plants change from magenta over to white or to pink. We will stop the engine of the boat for some minutes to take part of the silence and to enjoy the colour splendour. At the same time you can observe in addition many different kinds from water birds to. After a coffee break we continue to drive in direction of Trang and will visit Wat Tham Sumano. This temple offers courses of meditation, which are held in an extensive rock cave. We can visit these places and discover a cave formed like a cathedral and equipped with chandeliers and many Buddha figures. A particular and impressive experience. The lunch will be in a land restaurant. After a short drive we reach the Khaochong Botanical garden with its Waterfalls (the most beautiful in the Province of Trang).
At the Tonyai water full you can climb or refresh you in a wonderful basin.
Now the excursion goes back to Nakorn Sri Thammarat. In the city we will visit the historical temple Wat Phra Mahathat. Its original pagoda was built approx. 1700 years ago, in order to retain Buddha’s relics coming from Sri Lanka. Today the pagoda is 77m meters high and is one of the most interesting and important temple places in the South of Thailand. Now we visit the "Suchart House", where we will see, how the famous shade play figures are manufactured by hand. This place is the only in the South of Thailand where this tradition lives on and also shade shows will be presented. The evening in the city is at your own disposal.
4th day
Against 8:00 departure from the hotel to the southern part of the Khao Luang, to the village Kiriwong (approx. 25 km). This village has become known by its ecological cultivation of fruit since centuries. The inhabitants did not clear the rain forest to get fruit gardens; they only planted fruit trees, where natural clearing in the jungle was developed. Based on this fact you can admire Durian trees which are approx. 200 years old. This place is ingenious, in order to undertake expanded walks along the brooks up to the mountains. The ways are well accessible into the mountains and you can see the interesting mixture of jungle and fruit trees. Since neither Pesticides nor artificial fertilizers are used here, the fruits from Kiriwong taste particularly good. We undertake an expanded daily walk within this region. Starting from the village along the river with its romantic rock landscape, we go into the mountains through jungles and fruit plants. During the excursion, fantastic views are offered to see the mountains and the valleys with their water trails. About noon, a Thai is waiting, at a brook of small waterfalls, for us. In the shade of a tree, he will prepare our meal at the campfire. We can here also relax in small Water basins until the meal is prepared. After the meal you can walk to an unknown waterfall or you can stay and wait until the others are coming back. About 17:00 clock we reach again the village and we can take a bath in the river. At about18:00 we will meet a family of the village for dinner. We will discover the normal Thai- and village live as a guest. About 20:00 you will be brought back the hotel, in order to relive the different impressions of the day.
5th day
Today at 8:00, our last day, we will drive you again to Kiriwong as starting point for a further small walk to a waterfall without any name, or signs, because only local guides know these places. One of them will bring us, along the brook with its many small waterfalls, to such a beautiful place. We across the mountains with their valuable trees and enjoy the amazing views to the mountains overgrown by the rain forest and its romantic valleys. After a short stay and refreshment break at the waterfall, it goes back to the village. This village is well-known for its OTOP products. We will visit the Herbal House, a batik production and a small production, where handicapped person produce different products of coconut bowls. We take the lunch, for the conclusion of the round trip, in a restaurant at the river. End of the excursion will be about 14:00.
This tour we don’t operate from December until February; at this time here is rainy season.

The selling prices apply to departure from and arrival to Khao Lak. The tour starts always in Khao Lak. The guests have at the end of the tour in Nakhorn Sri Thammarat (14:00) the possibility to drive to other destinations. Unique additional costs:

We recommend our guests to contract in their home country insurance for accident and luggage. We have liability insurance for accidents for our guests during the trip, but the insurance compensations in Thailand are extremely reduced. We are not taking liability for our guest's luggage.
