Adventure Nature - 3 days / 2 nights

1st day
8.00 a.m. start from your hotel to the mangroves of Namkean, where you will enjoy the fantastic world of the mangrove forests during a one hour boat ride on the Takuapa River. Thereafter we will visit the historical town of Takuapa, the beginning of its history dating back about 250 years, when this place was founded by Chinese merchants and tin miners. Everywhere you will find the remnants of the old days, whether in the small lanes with their old houses or along the ancient town wall. We will visit a typical coffee shop and lunch will be served in a restaurant near the Takuapa River.
In the afternoon we will visit the Sri Phang Nga National Park, which is joined with the more famous Khao Sok National Park. During a three and a half hours walk through thick primary rain forest, our experienced guide will show you the exciting flora and fauna of this extraordinary environment. A bath beneath an impressing waterfall will refresh you. Back at the entrance, our car will bring you to the "Kuraburi Green View Resort", which is situated in a picturesque forest valley with a small lake and a swimming pool. Dinner will be served in a romantic atmosphere.
2nd day
Start at 8.00 a.m. to Khao Sok. Our car climbs up in long turns to a view point of the mountain range from where you will enjoy a fantastic view over the Khao Sok Valley. In Khao Sok we first visit a typical school, where you have the chance to inform yourself about education in Thailand by talking to teachers and pupils as well (only on week days). Then we will visit a farm with different fruit trees as Longkon, Rambutan and Mangosteen, and following a small path we at last will find ourselves in a relic of primary jungle with thorny rattan palms and many other interesting plants as gingers and orchids. Lunch will be served in the "Thai Herb Restaurant", which is surrounded by colorful gardens.
After lunch, the car brings us to a small temple and cave besides the Khao Sok River. From here we start for canoeing on the Khao Sok River and for one and a half hour you will enjoy the beautiful countryside with its bizarre limestone hills and evergreen jungles. Overnight we will stay in the picturesque Khao Sok Cliff & River Resort, the bungalows and the swimming pool of which are situated on a slope from where you have a wonderful view on the river and the nearby limestone cliff. Since the dinner will not be served before 7.30 p.m. in the restaurant at the riverside, there is time enough to take a bath in the swimming pool or to relax on the large veranda of your chalet.
3rd day
After breakfast we start for the „Cheow Lan Lake“, which belongs to the Khao Sok National Park and which is famous for its bizarre limestone mountains. During a 70 minutes ride with a long tail boat, you will get an unforgettable impression of the overwhelming panorama of this unique countryside. Somewhere ashore we start for a one hour walk through the forest. The trail is easy to go and ends at the raft house of another small lake. From the raft house we go by a motorized bamboo raft to the opposite shore, where we climb up a slope and enter a small but beautiful stalactite cavern. We will have lunch in an original floating restaurant on the lake. After lunch, there is time enough to take a refreshing bath in the lake before we will go back to Khao Lak, which we will reach about 6.00 p.m.

Lunch & Dinner: We offer 4 – 5 different Thai dishes and fruits according to the season.
We consider special wishes of our guests, in case they are vegetarians or people who do not eat fish or special sorts of meat. Soft drinks as Cola, Fanta, Soda, mineralwater, coffee or tea are also included.
Not included: Alcoholic drinks, tips and personal expenses for shopping.
